Hair extensions weren’t something I originally planned to specialize in. They became part of my journey through experience, intention, and doing what’s right.
I was wearing extensions myself when a client noticed them and asked if I could do hers. At the time, I wasn’t certified, so I referred her to another stylist. She ultimately chose someone else, and unfortunately, her experience was anything but positive. She dealt with ongoing issues like beads loosening, wefts slipping, discomfort, and constant maintenance problems that left her feeling frustrated and discouraged.
Watching that happen to someone I cared about was the turning point for me. It was because of her experience that I chose to become an extension specialist—so I could make sure extensions are done the right way, with care, consistency, and confidence. Shortly after COVID, I became certified and fully committed to offering sew-in extensions with intention and integrity.
As I continued my education, I learned that there are many extension methods available. While some use glue or heat, I personally prefer a sew-in, beaded row method. This approach allows for a fully customized, secure foundation that supports your natural hair while adapting to your texture, density, and lifestyle. My focus is always on comfort, balance, and long-term hair health.
This work isn’t about trends—it’s about trust. Every install is thoughtfully designed to feel seamless, natural, and wearable, while still giving you the length, fullness, or transformation you’re dreaming of.
I would never offer a service I don’t believe in or wouldn’t wear myself. I personally wear sew-in extensions, and I love the freedom they allow—high ponytails, top knots, braids, and curls that last for days. They’re designed to move with you, support real life, and help you feel confident every step of the way.
Beyond the salon, I’ve built an online education platform where I teach and mentor stylists through my extension training, The Change Makers Extensions. This education is rooted in the same values I bring to my clients—integrity, intention, and growth—because when we do things the right way, the results speak for themselves.
The brand of hair I use is Bellami—real human hair that allows me to treat your extensions just like your own. You can style it, curl it, braid it, and live in it freely.
